- Generate the clinical draft outside the EHR.
- Review and correct the complete draft.
- Copy only permitted narrative text into the appropriate EHR field.
- Complete diagnoses, orders, medications, charges, and other structured work separately.
- Review the final chart and sign inside the EHR.
